Basketball Recap: Delaware School for the Deaf Blue Hawks vs. New York School for the Deaf Golden Tornadoes
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Towle Institute, Delaware School for the Deaf was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the New York School for the Deaf Golden Tornadoes by a score of 40-31. The score was all tied up 16-16 at the break, but the Blue Hawks were the better team in the second half.
Despite the loss, New York School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Arturo Dominguez-Fermin, who went 12 of 25 en route to 26 points and six rebounds. Dominguez-Fermin continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.
