Basketball Recap: Hastings Comes Up Short

Hastings lost against Western back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hastings Saxons lost 57-37 to the Western Panthers. The Saxons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hastings' defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Western, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hastings will head out to take on Lee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Western, they will venture away from home to face off against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marshall will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Western surely won't give up without a fight.
