Soccer Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Limestone Rockets, falling 4-0. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Canton it sure didn't stay that way.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Limestone, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Canton will square off against Dunlap at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canton's defense better be ready for this one: Dunlap have averaged an impressive 4.4 goals per game this season. As for Limestone, they have already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Galesburg on the 20th.
