Volleyball Recap: Fulton Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Estella Vanschenkhof and Bre Knighten

Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warsaw Wildcats.

Fulton's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bre Knighten, who had eight kills and eight digs, and Estella Vanschenkhof, who had four digs and two aces. Knighten is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Warsaw, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10-1 record this season.

Fulton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Skyline on the 18th. As for Warsaw, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Osage on the 18th.
