Baseball Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Archbishop Murphy Wildcats

The Everett Seagulls will venture away from home to face off against the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Everett hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Thursday, Everett didn't have quite enough to beat Stanwood and fell 3-2.

Everett saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luca Morales, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Murphy lost 7-1 to Edmonds-Woodway on Thursday.

Archbishop Murphy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Everett, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everett might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Archbishop Murphy when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Seagulls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
