Guilford came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let the Jefferson J-Hawks on the board, marking their second-straight 2-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Guilford was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13.

Guilford's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-4. As for Jefferson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Guilford nor Jefferson have any future games scheduled.
