They fell just short of the Floyd County Buffaloes by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Buffaloes: they've now lost three in a row.

James River's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Floyd County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
