Mendon extended the longest winning streak in Saint Joseph Valley this week by beating White Pigeon, 42-7. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Hornets.
Bronson made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,865 from 12,226. The improvement was the result of 42-6 victory over Centreville last week.
Mendon's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nick Eberstein has thrown for 646 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Kyle Weswell has six catches for 155 yards. Tyler Harris leads the league in rushing with 412 yards.
