Soccer Game Preview: Berkeley Prep vs. Southeast

The Berkeley Prep Buccaneers will take on the Southeast Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Berkeley Prep is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Palm Harbor University on Friday. Berkeley Prep fell just short of Palm Harbor University by a score of 2-1. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Southeast, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let Bayshore onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Seminoles have won seven contests by more than four goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Bayshore with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kingston Ugochukwu (4), Luis Villegas, and Orlando Merida.

The win got Southeast back to even at 7-7-3. As for Berkeley Prep, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5-3.
