Soccer Game Preview: Chiawana vs. Sageview

The Chiawana Riverhawks will challenge the Sageview Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Thursday, Chiawana needed a bit of extra time to put away Southridge. Their defense stepped up to hand the Suns a 1-0 shutout. Give Chiawana's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Sageview's offense. They fell just short of Hermiston by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Sageview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Chiawana, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-1.
