Softball Recap: Bendle Comes Up Short

After flying high against Atherton on Thursday, Bendle came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Eastern Quakers on Saturday, falling 13-3. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 15-14 to the Quakers when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bendle now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Eastern, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Bendle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Kelloggsville on the 25th. As for Eastern, they will head out to square off against Haslett at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Quakers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
