Softball Recap: LBJ Austin's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

LBJ Austin can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They never let the Austin Achieve Polar Bears get on the board and left with a 37-0 win. Considering the Jaguars' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

LBJ Austin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Austin Achieve, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, LBJ Austin and Austin Achieve will both be playing Northeast Early College the next time they take the field. Austin Achieve will head out to face Northeast Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while LBJ Austin will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
