Baseball Recap: South Kitsap Comes Up Short

South Kitsap lost against Emerald Ridge last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The Wolves' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

South Kitsap's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Emerald Ridge, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Kitsap will host Spanaway Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves are facing the Sentinels at the right time seeing as the Sentinels are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Emerald Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: the Bison will have lost three straight heading into Friday's contest.
