Preview: Fowler Grizzlies vs. Limon Badgers
Fowler is 0-6 against Limon since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Fowler Grizzlies will be playing at home against the Limon Badgers at 1:00 p.m. Hopefully Fowler focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Thursday.
After a string of three wins, Fowler's good fortune finally ran out. The match between them and Hoehne wasn't particularly close, with Fowler falling 54-37. Fowler found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post eight fewer assists than your opponent.
Despite the defeat, Fowler saw an underclassman step up: Jaslyn Bates scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bates has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Osborne, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Limon didn't have too much trouble with Byers at home on Friday as they won 53-36.
Fowler's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7. As for Limon, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
