Volleyball Recap: Maplewood Comes Up Short

Maplewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers, falling 3-0.

Maplewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mercyhurst Prep, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Maplewood will square off against Rocky Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Orioles at the right time seeing as the Orioles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. After both having extra time off, Mercyhurst Prep and Cambridge Springs will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
