Alex Jasquith leads Booker T. Washington to victory over ED White

Winning is just a little bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 21 to 14 on the offensive boards, a fact the Booker T. Washington Wildcats proved on Saturday. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over ED White. Given Booker T. Washington's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while ED White is ranked 549th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Alex Jasquith, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Logan Brown was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.

Several Commanders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. As for ED White, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Parker at 12:00 p.m. Parker is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
