Flag Football Game Preview: Poudre School District Stars vs. Thornton Trojans

The Poudre School District Stars are taking a road trip to square off against the Thornton Trojans at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Poudre School District will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Thornton's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Saturday: Poudre School District hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. The Stars took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 39-0 win over Monarch. Considering the Stars have won six games by more than 24 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Poudre School District didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Isabella Hottman.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Thornton's offense. They came up short against Eagle Ridge Academy on Wednesday, falling 26-0. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thornton's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Poudre School District, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
