Basketball Recap: Chestatee Comes Up Short

If Chestatee was riding high fresh off their 78-14 takedown of Johnson last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chestatee War Eagles fell 50-39 to the White County Warriors on Wednesday. The War Eagles have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for White County, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

When Chestatee and White County next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Chestatee will try to stop Dawson County's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, White County will face off against Pickens and their four-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
