Baseball Recap: Denton Sets Scoring Season-High Against Saginaw

Denton barely beat Saginaw the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Denton Broncos put the hurt on the Saginaw Rough Riders with a sharp 17-1 victory on Friday. The Broncos' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jackson Andoga looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Denton is undefeated when Andoga allowsone or fewer earned runs, but 2-4-2 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Denton got a massive performance out of Connor Lima-Ueland, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Diego Medina, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
