Baseball Recap: The Classical Academy Comes Up Short

The Classical Academy came into this matchup off a tough 13-run defeat on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Pueblo County Hornets by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The Classical Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Mullen, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

The Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Pueblo County, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-2.

As of now, neither The Classical Academy nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
