Southridge has gone 10-0 against Palmetto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Southridge Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Palmetto Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Southridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.
Southridge took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, posting a 76-16 victory. That 60 point margin sets a new team best for the Spartans this season.

Southridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Naya Hardisson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten assists. Hardisson's evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dianka Hardisson, who went 8 of 12 on her way to 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Palmetto entered their tilt with South Dade on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 53-36 victory over the Buccaneers.
Palmetto's win came from a few key players Southridge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bianca Pacheco, who posted 17 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Alessandra Falcon, who had 12 points in addition to six boards and five steals.
Hardisson wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Palmetto was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Dade only posted seven assists.
Palmetto is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Southridge, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Keep an eye on the arc in Monday's matchup: Southridge has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 41.1% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Palmetto, though, as they've only made 23.1% of their three-pointers this season. Given Southridge's sizable advantage in that area, Palmetto will need to find a way to close that gap.
Southridge took their win against Palmetto in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 58-37. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Palmetto's Sami Anes, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.
