Soccer Game Preview: North Mac vs. Staunton

North Mac hasn't had much luck against Staunton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Mac is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Lincoln on Monday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Railsplitters.

Meanwhile, Staunton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Jacksonville get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Staunton's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Kaliana Buehler, who's now up to 12 this season.

North Mac's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Staunton, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0.
