Volleyball Recap: South Webster Starts Season with Victory at Home

South Webster gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Notre Dame Titans with a sharp 3-0 win. The Jeeps haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

South Webster never let Notre Dame on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-19.

Addi Claxon paced South Webster's offense, picking up 17 kills. Claxon got some help from Sidney Keslar and her 31 assists. Carly Mays and Kennedy Hamilton kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

South Webster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Unioto on the 19th. As for Notre Dame, they will head out to challenge Wheelersburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
