The Pendleton Heights Arabians will take on the Muncie Central Bearcats at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Pendleton Heights is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season.

Pendleton Heights will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating New Castle, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Pendleton Heights secured a 63-59 W over New Castle on Tuesday.

Pendleton Heights' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Sims, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 22 points. Evan Mozingo was another key player, putting up ten points and six assists.

Meanwhile, Muncie Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Yorktown.

Pendleton Heights will need to focus on slowing down Landen Wells, one of several Muncie Central players who made an impact when they last played. He went 6-for-11 en route to 15 points. Thanks to that strong game, Wells now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Terry Miles, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Pendleton Heights has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games. As for Muncie Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Pendleton Heights came up short against Muncie Central in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 53-48. Thankfully for Pendleton Heights, Brady McNabb (who went 5-for-8 on his way to 15 points along with five assists and three steals) won't be suiting up this time.
