Baseball Recap: Piedmont Highlanders vs. Arroyo Dons

While Piedmont put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Arroyo. The Highlanders came out on top against the Dons by a score of 5-0. The Highlanders haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to George Bishop's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Will Parker and Diego Delventhal did most of the damage at the plate: Parker went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Delventhal scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That triple was Parker's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Martin, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
