Basketball Recap: Floral Park Memorial Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Floral Park Memorial lost to Friends Academy back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Floral Park Memorial Knights came out on top against the Friends Academy Quakers by a score of 78-66. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Despite the loss, Friends Academy had strong showings from Chase O'Brien, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds, and Eyan Valadez, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave O'Brien a new career-high in assists (two). Another player making a difference was Jared Williams, who posted six points and six rebounds.
