Basketball Recap: Rockwood Summit Comes Up Short

Rockwood Summit lost against Seckman back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rockwood Summit Falcons came up short against the Seckman Jaguars, falling 69-46. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Jaguars are ranked 104th).

Rockwood Summit has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for Seckman, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

Rockwood Summit has already played their next game, a 55-46 win against Hazelwood West on the 28th. Seckman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
