Baseball Recap: Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Takes a Loss

The matchup between Badger/Greenbush-Middle River and Ada-Borup on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Gators came up short against the Cougars, falling 22-6. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Will Foss was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Deegan Hanson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Badger/Greenbush-Middle River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Ada-Borup, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coming up, Badger/Greenbush-Middle River will be playing at home against Stephen-Argyle Central at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ada-Borup, they will square off against Kittson Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
