Softball Recap: Kecoughtan Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Kecoughtan extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 9-4 in the process. They blew past the Denbigh Patriots 18-2. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won nine matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

As for Denbigh, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Denbigh's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was London Fate, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Looking ahead, Kecoughtan is taking a road trip to challenge Lakeland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Denbigh will be paying especially close attention to the Warriors' game: after the Warriors face off against the Cavaliers, they'll take on Denbigh again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
