Nitro is a perfect 10-0 against Poca since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Dots at 6:00 p.m. Nitro has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 2nd.

On Wednesday, Nitro came up short against Sissonville and fell 5-2.

Meanwhile, Poca came up short against Roane County on Wednesday, falling 21-1.

Poca saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Legg, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. Preston Bonnett was another, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Nitro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Poca, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Nitro took their win against Poca when the teams last played on April 2nd by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
