Softball Recap: Creston Comes Up Short

Creston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Atlantic Trojans, falling 13-2. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2025.

Creston now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Atlantic, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, Creston will face off against Glenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Atlantic, they will be playing at home against Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
