Softball Recap: Goshen Central Gladiators vs. Warwick Wildcats
Goshen Central lost against Warwick back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gladiators took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The match marked the Gladiators' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Sophia Springer was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run and one double. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Mayo, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
Having lost for the first time this season, Goshen Central fell to 5-1. As for Warwick, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.
