It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Westran ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They snuck past the Brunswick Wildcats with a 59-55 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Westran got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brody Kallmeyer out in front who posted ten points and seven boards. That's the most rebounds Kallmeyer has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Marshall Kitchen, who went 5-for-10 en route to 10 points.

Westran smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 16 consecutive games.
