Softball Recap: Big Walnut Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Big Walnut can now relate to. They fell just short of the Anthony Wayne Generals by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Big Walnut's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Anthony Wayne, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 26-3.

Big Walnut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anthony Wayne, they will challenge Westerville Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Generals 1.8, the Warhawks 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
