Softball Recap: Tyler Legacy Comes Up Short

Tyler Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the Rockwall-Heath Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Tyler Legacy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ReNaa Hicks, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Tyler Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Rockwall-Heath, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Tyler Legacy will head out to challenge North Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Forney has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.53 runs per game on average), something Tyler Legacy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rockwall-Heath, they will host Scurry-Rosser at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
