After a string of three wins, Sandalwood's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 27-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bartram Trail Bears.

Kaila Pierce went supernova For Bartram Trail., throwing for 251 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.8% of her passes. They are undefeated when Pierce posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise. Lily Holden also helped out with an impressive 102 receiving yards.

Sandalwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Bartram Trail, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Sandalwood will be playing at home against Raines at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bartram Trail, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 victory against Mandarin on the 28th.
