Florence put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 64-33 blowout they got against the Chandler Prep Titans. The Gophers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Florence's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adrian Taufaasau, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most rebounds Taufaasau has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Stenson, who posted eight points along with ten rebounds and four steals.

Florence smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 22 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Florence's record now sits at 12-0. As for Chandler Prep, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Florence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-57 victory against Winslow on the 3rd. As for Chandler Prep, they will take on Pima at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
