Soccer Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Takes a Loss

After flying high against Beecher last Tuesday, Bradley-Bourbonnais came back down to earth. The Boilermakers fell just short of the Mattoon Greenwave by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mattoon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Bradley-Bourbonnais will challenge Herscher at 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mattoon, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Champaign Central at 5:00 p.m. Mattoon's defense better be ready for this one: Champaign Central have averaged an impressive 5.8 goals per game this season.
