Football Recap: Appleton North Starts off Right with Win over Mukwonago

Appleton North had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 21-6 victory over the Mukwonago Indians. The win was all the more spectacular given the Lightning's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Indians are ranked third).

Coming up, Appleton North will head out on the road to challenge Kenosha Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mukwonago, they will welcome Sun Prairie East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
