Basketball Recap: Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders vs. DeMatha Stags
Eleanor Roosevelt lost against DeMatha back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders took a blow against the DeMatha Stags, falling 86-57.
Ashton (Ace) Meeks went supernova for DeMatha, going 7 for 15 en route to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Abass, who had 14 points in addition to seven rebounds.
The victory got DeMatha back to even at 1-1.
Eleanor Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Bladensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for DeMatha, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 77-61 win against Brennan on the 7th.
