Eldorado had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 5-8 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Desert Pines Jaguars by a score of 6-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Armando Quiroz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Terry Cruz, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesus Duarte, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Eldorado was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

As for Desert Pines, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

On Desert Pines' side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kevin Ruiz Sanchez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Eldorado will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jaguars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
