Volleyball Recap: Pleasure Ridge Park Falls Short Against Ranked St. Xavier

Pleasure Ridge Park faced St. Xavier in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Louie Murr was the offensive standout of the contest as he had nine assists and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in March.

Pleasure Ridge Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for St. Xavier, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Pleasure Ridge Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Franklin County on the 19th. As for St. Xavier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Scott on the 19th.
