Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Calvary Christian entered their tilt with Berkeley Prep on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers 54-52. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 65-42 win the Buccaneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ethan Bergantino, who posted 19 points. With that strong performance, Bergantino is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. Ethan Sabec was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.

Calvary Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Berkeley Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Calvary Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 71-64 victory against East Lake on the 4th. As for Berkeley Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-40 win against Winter Haven on the 4th.
