Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Seven Lakes

Katy Taylor came into Friday's game looking for another win against Seven Lakes, but Willtrace Ngoh wouldn't allow it. The Seven Lakes Spartans came out on top against the Katy Taylor Mustangs by a score of 64-53 on Friday thanks in part to Ngoh, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 22 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Another player making a difference was Madison Carlton, who posted seven points along with 11 boards and five steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Seven Lakes and bumps their season record up to 8-22. As for Katy Taylor, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7.

Seven Lakes wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-34 loss against Jordan on the 21st. Katy Taylor has also already played their next contest, a 76-54 win against Katy on the 23rd.
