Volleyball Recap: Roswell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Roswell lost against Etowah back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Roswell was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Cailyn Williams and Rumi Eichelberger, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Grace Patterson and her ten assists. Natalie Chandler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Etowah's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kate Holley, who had ten digs and three assists. That's the most assists Holley has posted since back in September.

Roswell's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-21. As for Etowah, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Roswell nor Etowah have any future games scheduled.
