Lake Norman Charter kept a clean sheet against Central Cabarrus on Tuesday. They blew past the Vikings 6-0. Considering Lake Norman Charter have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Central Cabarrus with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kate Robinson (2), Madison Buffington (2), Isabella Thamodharan, and Alexandra Bach.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Lake Norman Charter, bringing their record up to 12-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for Central Cabarrus, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3-1.

Lake Norman Charter and Central Cabarrus should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Knights (ranked 64th) will meet East Rowan (ranked 445th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central Cabarrus will face off against West Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (186 vs. 404).
