Volleyball Game Preview: Spanish Fork Dons vs. Salem Hills Skyhawks

Spanish Fork hasn't had much luck against Salem Hills recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Dons will head out to take on the Skyhawks at 6:30 p.m. Spanish Fork will be strutting in after a win while Salem Hills will be coming in after a loss.

Spanish Fork took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Springville with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Dons haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

While Spanish Fork won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-8, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Salem Hills lost 3-0 to Green Canyon on Friday.

Spanish Fork's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Salem Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.

Spanish Fork was able to grind out a solid win over Salem Hills in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
