Volleyball Recap: Blue Ridge Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Blue Ridge entered their tilt with Susquehanna on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Sabers by a score of 3-1. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sabers, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 22-25, 25-9, 25-22.

Abigail Gelinger paced Blue Ridge's offense, picking up 19 kills. Gelinger got some help from Mckenna Zick and her 48 assists. Zick was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Blue Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Susquehanna, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Blue Ridge will be playing at home against Elk Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Susquehanna, after both having extra time off, they and MMI Preparatory School will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
