After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Evart, Ithaca was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 15, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Brady Paradise spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Connor McMurphy, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Ithaca's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Nouvel Catholic Central, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Ithaca will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
