They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 6-0 walloping at the hands of the South-Doyle Cherokees on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Austin-East of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
The victory for South-Doyle keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Austin-East will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Halls at 7:00 p.m. As for South-Doyle, they will head out on the road to challenge Alcoa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
